Backed by extensive education and training, 10+ years of practice in the US and internationally, and an ongoing commitment to the community, LaToya has worked tirelessly to treat mental health and provide healing of the mind through multiple treatment modalities, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic recommendations. LaToya has also worked in various settings throughout her nursing career specializing in Emergency Acute Care, Primary Care and Psychiatry. She is dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has also provided support internationally by performing healthcare services in Kuwait and Afghanistan. During her service overseas, she spent time interacting and treating individuals of various backgrounds and cultures and prioritizes providing culturally competent support. She believes in a team approach where both the provider and the client work together to achieve optimal mental wellness.
