Our Mental Health Therapists are preferred providers with BCBS and United Healthcare. Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists are all preferred providers with Aetna, BCBS, United Healthcare, and Cigna. Most of these plans have mental health and nutrition benefits. For more details about your benefits, including number of sessions covered, co-pays and deductible information, please contact your insurance company. Please note that the type of nutrition or mental health therapy coverage you have will depend on your specific plan contracted by your employer.
If you do not have nutrition benefits, ask your company’s benefits department to cover medical nutrition and/or mental health therapy. Benefits may be defined but not limited to: deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance.
If your insurance company will not cover visits, we will provide you with a superbill at each visit with the service and payment amount for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you are a new patient, you will receive an email with new patient registration forms before arriving at your appointment. Please fill these out before meeting with your provider. If they are not filled out, your provider will ask you to do so at the time of your visit, which will, unfortunately, decrease the time you have in your session.
For medical records and invoices we do charge $1 per visit. Please email us at appointments@washncgroup.com and we will send you an invoice to pay online for your healthcare information.
If you need a letter for your employer, lawyer, or other professional, disability or FMLA, a patient letter can be purchased here. Please note many of our mental health therapy and dietitian providers are requiring a 3 visit minimum so they can fully evaluate your condition before they are able to write a letter regarding your health status.
Since COVID-19, which required us to move to a virtual setting, we now require you to have a credit card on file with us so your co pays can be run through our medical billing system after each visit as well as any other non-insurance covered expenses.
You can check your appointment dates and times, payment balance, or pay any outstanding balances using the patient portal below. Please note we update your payment balance, including co-pays paid, when your insurance EOB for your visit is processed, which can take approximately one week up to one month.
