Genevieve focuses on identifying and helping you to understand the many variables influencing your symptoms and challenges, then works with you to develop creative solutions unique to your personal situation, nutrition needs, preferences and health goals. Her goal is to move you forward in better health with practical changes, qualified nutrition information, supportive care and science-based solutions.

Genevieve has advanced practitioner credentialing as a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist and Certified Gastrointestinal Nutritionist. She holds Certificates of Training in both Adult Weight Management and Integrative and Functional Nutrition from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Experienced in evidenced-based interventions to optimize gut health, she is trained on the use of a low FODMAP diet for IBS by Monash University and completed expert professional training in treatment of small intestinal bacteria overgrowth.

Genevieve earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition from Clemson University and completed her dietetic internship through Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University’s Northern Virginia Program. Her passion for individual counseling and preventative care led her to work in various outpatient settings where she could maximize her impact within physician supervised weight loss programs, cardiac risk reduction centers, diabetes self-management education programs and hospital transitional care clinics.

Genevieve has enjoyed her last 9 years in private practice at WNCG, where in addition to treating a wide variety of medical conditions and nutrition challenges, she can help her patients live better lives from positive health outcomes.
