Psychiatric Medication Management

Our licensed psychiatrists treat a variety of behavioral conditions such as but not limited to; ADHD, bipolar disorder, binge eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep disorders, and depression.

Psychiatry Consultations at our mental health clinic with one of our licensed psychiatrists are for individuals who have been referred by a medical provider for a specific behavioral evaluation or medication management or have done their own research and think they need to be assessed for behavioral health medication management.

At this time all of our psychiatrists are virtual. We have psychiatric providers licensed in all 3 states (DC, Maryland, and Virginia). You must meet with one of our psychiatrists who is licensed in the state you will be located in the time of the telehealth appointment.

What to expect:

At your initial visit your licensed psychiatrist will meet and learn about your treatment needs, obtain a psychiatric and medical history, your family history, developmental, personal, and social history, and take the time to understand your lifestyle, personality traits, goals, and family and friend relationships. Your psychiatrist will then discuss their assessment and review different treatment options with you including developing a personalized treatment plan which may include medication management, mental health therapy, psychological testing, and referrals to other medical professionals. Follow-up appointments include evaluating your response to medications, medication adjustment, and
determine if further testing or evaluations of other medical professionals is necessary.
