Kelly McGuffin, MS, RD is a registered dietitian and a certified health coach with Medifast/Take Shape for Life with a bachelor degree in dietetics and a minor in public health/health assessment and promotion from James Madison University. Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude and went on to complete her dietetic internship from the University of Virginia. Kelly also received her master’s degree in nutrition from Central Michigan University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Kelly has a diverse background working in the hospital setting as well as the outpatient setting. Areas of practice include working with both the pediatric and adult population with obesity and a diverse range of medical conditions from celiac disease, diabetes, bariatric surgery, heart disease, eating disorders, kidney disease, pulmonary disease, substance abuse, and much more.

Kelly is passionate with helping clients meet their nutritional needs and reaching their goals.

Genevieve Clarke, RDN, LDN, CDE is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a member of both the American Dietetic Association and American Association of Diabetes Educators. Genevieve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science with a concentration in Human Nutrition at Clemson University. Genevieve completed her dietetic internship through Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. During her internship Genevieve performed her medical nutrition therapy rotation at Inova Fairfax Hospital and completed specialty training at bariatric surgery centers, weight management programs and sports nutrition sites throughout Northern Virginia. Genevieve also holds the Group Fitness Instructor Certification through the American Council on Exercise and is a practicing group exercise instructor and personal trainer.

Genevieve has a broad range of experience from both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings to physician supervised weight loss programs. As a dietitian, Genevieve takes a balanced approach to nutrition. With extensive experience in nutrition counseling for weight management, cholesterol improvement, diabetes control, high blood pressure, insulin training, binge eating disorder, bariatric surgery, general wellness and various gastrointestinal issues her goal is to make sure every client leaves her office with the knowledge they need to improve their health significantly.

Dawn Croft RDN, LDN is a registered dietitian, member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and licensed in Maryland. Dawn graduated from University of Delaware with a bachelor of science in Dietetics and went on to complete an internship at University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore Maryland.

Dawn has a large range of experience in outpatient and inpatient nutrition.  She trained on the use of a low FODMAP diet for IBS at Monash University and worked at Washington Hospital Center as an outpatient Dietitian in their Renal clinic and Wellness Center before moving in to an inpatient role as the burn and trauma dietitian. While in her internship, she completed a food allergy program for a large hospital. The abstract was published by the American Dietetic Association and received an award from the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network. Dawn has since worked in the community providing nutrition education in a variety of topics to corporations as well as individuals.

Dawn is an active and motivated individual and strives to help others achieve optimal health with realistic lifelong eating behavior.

Ashley Peterson, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor, she holds a Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from The University of The District of Columbia, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University.

Ashley’s clinical training includes Multicultural Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy as well as the practice of Mindfulness and holistic healing. Ashley’s electric view of therapy involves treating the clients entire being while combining different modalities and treatments to best aide in recovery and healing. Her experience as a clinical therapist includes trauma recovery, family therapy and couples therapy, as well as working with children, adults and seniors.

Ashley enjoys providing her clients the tools to live their best life through motivation, support and empowerment.

Helen Freiling, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of Divine Mercy University, where she completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology. She is also an alumna of the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she completed her bachelor’s degree. Ms. Freiling shows a keen interest in treating patients diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder, postpartum depression, alcoholism, bipolar disorder, and irrational fears or phobias.

Helen’s passion for her work is unparalleled. She ensures every individual leaves the clinic feeling satisfied and motivated to get their lives back in order. Ms. Freiling is comfortable to talk with and patients are easily drawn to her calm persona. She is a good listener and encourages her patients to drop all inhibitions and discuss their issues freely.

Sue Fletcher

Susan Fletcher, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She has well-rooted compassion for people and her therapeutic approach ignites comfort through holistic strategies that heal those suffering from the stressors that lead to addiction and mental disorders. Familiar with the manifestations and symptoms associated with depression, anxiety and poor self-image as well as various mental disorders, such as Bi-Polar Disorder and Schizophrenia, she is experienced in resolving the trauma and crisis that can occur as a result. Her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other treatment modalities enables her to guide a diversity of clients in developing effective coping skills.


Her professional goal is for all to live a well-balanced life.

Mary Jouett Rodman, LCSW is a licensed social worker practicing clinical therapy for over 10 years. She graduated from the Jane Addams College of Social Work.

Mary utilizes a holistic approach when identifying and treating a patient’s specific needs. She has over 10 years of experience post graduate experience in mental health and has a Master’s Degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Mary uses various treatment modalities that focus on the patient’s strengths rather than deficits. Her treatment focus is for mindful care for the mind, body, and soul. Her experience as a clinical social worker includes motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, person centered treatment approach to treat eating disordered patients with anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorders. Mary has also has received training in body image issues and how that pertains to clinical treatment.  She is currently certified with the American Association of Bariatric Counselors as a certified bariatric counselor.

Jessica Taylor, LICSW, LCSW-C is a Clinical Social Worker providing individual, couple, child, adolescent, family and group therapy. Jessica is Trauma systems therapy trained and provides adoption, attachment and trauma competent therapy. Jessica received her Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University, School or Social Work and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.

Bentley Noland, LICSW, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical Social Worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia since 2004. Bentley obtained his masters of social work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice and his Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) from Maryland Institute College of Art.

Bentley sees the developing person in terms of continuous growth and refinement of the body mind and spirit. Bentley believes that each person can unlock their potential by identifying and reducing barriers to optimum health including self limiting beliefs and behaviors. He is adept at stress reduction through the practice of meditation, Tai Chi and Yoga. Ben is knowledgeable in overcoming trauma, the treatment of mood disorders and issues of recovery from addiction of all types. Ben utilizes a combination of Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive Restructuring and exploring alternatives to unhealthy family dynamics in the treatment of adults, adolescents and children. He has worked in inpatient and in private practice settings and as a social worker in child welfare.  Most importantly, Bentley believes in the art of listening as a means of developing a natural and intuitive path towards healing. Outside of the office, Ben practices visual arts and musical collaboration and believes in the power and passion of creative and occupational pursuits in building a healthy sense of self.
