Kamaria Brown, MS, LGPC is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. Kamaria earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Psychology. Kamaria then pursued a master’s degree and currently hold a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.
Kamaria focuses on cultivating a safe and comfortable space where clients can feel seen and heard. She incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into her practice, but also uses elements from various other treatment modalities which is tailored to each individual client. Kamaria works with all populations including teen, adult, and minority populations. Through her internship at Sheppard Pratt she has treated clients with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, adjustment disorder and more. She works hard to ensure that all clients benefit from therapy so that they can reach their fullest potential.
