Jalyn McDermott is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. She earned a Bachelor of Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Master of Social Work from Morgan State University. She has experience with children and adults, in school, correctional and community settings providing behavior support services, intensive in-home services, crisis support, and parenting education. Jalyn provides a safe and trauma informed approach using Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Mindfulness, Play Therapy and Trauma Systems Therapy modalities with a client centered philosophy. Together, she will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties whether that be depression, anxiety, anger issues, family conflict, and teen issues.
