Bridgette Joye is a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT Resident) practicing in Virginia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations from East Carolina University prior to completing her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.
In her clinical work, Bridgette works with couples, children, youth, families and individuals. She has therapy experience across the lifespan with diverse populations. Bridgette uses strength-based approaches to enhance emotional regulation and communication. Bridgette is also a certified facilitator of the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment for premarital couples.
Bridgette is an advocate for the benefits therapy can provide and has been able to assist in developing self-worth, breaking destructive generational patterns, building communication, learning healthy coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills, and strengthening connection and intimacy.
In her free time, Bridgette enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and family, and traveling with her husband and husky puppy.
